On the day of your move

The truck is loaded heavy items first and boxes last, with mattresses and blankets between furniture so nothing rubs during the drive. Fragile cartons travel on top, never under weight.

Before the truck leaves, walk through every room, cupboard and the roof once more. Check the meter readings, keep the old keys together and hand them over the same day.

Packing tips for your move

Wrap every glass item on its own and stand plates on their edge, not flat. Fill the empty space in the box with paper so nothing can move when the truck goes over a speed breaker.
